Do you want to discuss the latest trends in coffee with industry leaders – while at origin?

The Perfect Daily Grind Micro Coffee Festival is returning this September! This time, we’ll be going to Brazil, the world’s largest producer of coffee.

Spread over 5 days, you’ll stay on a coffee farm*, hear international speakers present, cup coffees from around the globe, and even have the opportunity to travel to coffee farms around Brazil.

*International guests only

Why Brazil? Not only does this country have a huge impact on the global coffee industry, but it’s creating innovative answers to issues around traceability, sustainability, and more. Many of these get overlooked because it’s Brazil – but we believe it’s time to question that dialogue. Moreover, in comparison to Latin America, young professionals in Brazil are starting to work in coffee, since they can have higher incomes and pay workers higher wages which can incentivise younger generations of coffee professionals.

Last year’s event in El Salvador generated business and led to thought-provoking discussions on topics from how specialty buyers can improve their relationship with producers to hiring the right coffee employees and what specialty coffee can learn from the rum industry. Attendees came from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North/South America. Check out the recap video here.

What is the itinerary?
Monday 25th: Arrivals
Tuesday 26th: International guests will be able to spend the day with their host, learning more about their coffee farm & culture.
Wednesday 27th: A full day of speakers, cuppings, and an evening trip to a coffee farm
Thursday 28th: A full day of speakers and cuppings
Friday 29th–Saturday 30th: Our Gold Sponsor, Ally Coffee, will be arranging trips to farms across Brazil. Alternatively, you can make your own plans for these days.

How do I get there?

Fly to RAO (Leite Lopes, Ribeirao Preto). If you’re an international guest, our Gold Sponsor, Ally Coffee, will collect you and transfer you to your host.

What about accommodation?

International guests will be kindly hosted at coffee farms by our Gold Sponsor, Ally Coffee. For national guests, our Gold Sponsor, Ally Coffee, is arranging discount hotel rates.
